Wayfinder Archery provides fundamental knowledge in instinctive shooting, development of a relationship with traditional bows, and a platform to transform your relationship to yourself & nature.
All skill levels are welcome on the range. Whether you are beginning your relationship with the bow & arrow, or are seeking to expand and develop your skill set, Mikhel and her crew welcome you. The archery range is an incredibly empowering and neutral place to integrate all thats moving through you. It can aid you in grounding your body, recalibrating your energy and mind, revealing yourself to yourself, and increasing your calm and center. Through mindful form, precision focus, a steady stance, and an open heart, Mikhel and the range provide a space for embodiment & authenticity to be explored via the art of shooting arrows.
One of Mikhel’s strong suits is to aid everyone in embodying their epic archery form. A clear delivery of archery principles combined with her absorbable teaching methods leads to solid instinctive shooting form. Alongside the principles and methods she guides her students with, she also brings a unique and uncommon teaching element to the table, an instinctive understanding of the human psyche and heart.
She has an uncanny ability to tap into people's “internal form”, which can strongly affect one’s external archery practice. Her internal archery guidance aids you in transforming the way you physically shoot, right then and there. The internal form shift carries over into deeper levels of overall transformation. Our body and mind are influenced by our beliefs, patterns, and relationship to self. Therefore an awareness and a perspective shift greatly impacts how we carry ourselves, hold a bow, direct our attention and focus, etc. These shifts drop us into flow state, into the present moment, and thats where deeper change takes root in our practice and lives.
Pathways of Education

Traditional Archery Workshops & Intensives
Co-ed or women’s only day-long or full weekend intensive workshops are an awesome way to be initiated or take a deeper dive into the practice of traditional archery & instinctive shooting.
A day-long allows for a great taste into the world of trad archery, and helps assess if a deep dive is desired future wise. You’ll walk away secure in shooting a traditional bow, along with gaining more internal connection & clarity. The day offers a healthy reset and full spectrum experience, and is an enlivening way to bond with yourself, community, and/or loved ones.
Commitment to a full weekend deepens your archery experience and abilities multi-fold. Integration via rest & reflection occur throughout each day. Yet once the power of a night’s sleep gets involved, something magical happens. Day two- tremendous skill growth, development, understanding, and foundation building “click in”, contributing to archery taking root within.
Kids 8+ years old who strongly desire to shoot bows, & have the patience and presence to be with us in a good way are highly encouraged and welcome to attend.

The 1st lesson lasts about 4-hours. For those interested in deep diving, packages are available and recommended. Group and package rates offered.
Lessons occur at the nearest outdoor archery range.

Inner Terrain sessions
Mikhel offers in-person and online sessions exploring the inner terrain via presence, discussion, and tea.
When we shift our perception, even in the smallest of ways, significant course corrections and/or openings are able to occur within ourselves and lives.
We cultivate awareness together. Allowing movement, space, and tending to enter all terrains of your life.
Speaking right to the heart of the matter, with precision directness and care, reveals ourselves to ourselves. The way is in the details of our lives.
Insight brings clarity, clarity dissolves what's in the way, the way then reveals itself.
Chop wood, carry water.
We tend the details by recognizing patterns. Leaning into learning to be responsible, to see & feel, to cultivate communication skills, to move accordingly.
Inner Terrain sessions pair beautifully with Traditional Archery lessons.

Skills Gatherings
Skills Gatherings are held all over the planet, the ones in North America usually fall under the category of Co-ed or Women’s only. These gatherings are often a mix of hard and soft skills, depending on the gathering.
Hard skills= all the earth based skills our ancestors lived so they could thrive on our home planet. Soft skills- all the inner skills needed to live in harmony with our psyches, bodies, and one another.
These gatherings can be incredibly powerful and fun, activating our remembrance to our indigenous hearts and lineages, our relationship with nature, larger community and relations, all while experiencing the fun and enjoyment of learning new skills.
Wayfinder Archery can be found holding down the range at various skills gatherings throughout the year. Check our calendar to find the ones we will be attending, and the Explore page to know of the various ones that exist.

Kids 8 years old and older are welcome to attend.
I highly encourage the youth who are inspired and feeling called to archery to join us.
If you have a child who’s younger than 8 years old that you feel is developed enough to join us, let me know, and they’re absolutely welcome.
My daughters and I fell in love with Mikhel's way of teaching the first time we had the pleasure to attend one of her classes, and together with that, we fell in love with archery!
After our first class, we knew we wanted more and joined her family friendly Intensives in California where we were able to deepen our archery skills and our friendship with Mikhel! She is a wonderful woman who is able to pass her knowledge and passion on in a very direct and serious way while simultaneously weaving in humor and joy, a combination that makes her class and her direction easy to follow and to remember. She surely knows how to capture your attention!
Archery is a discipline that blends grounding and meditation, I highly recommend it for adults and children.
